Beniza O. Cancino obtained her Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law where she was an active member of Moot Court and the Small Claims clinic. Beniza engaged in extensive work experience while in law school, clerking at a variety of litigation firms in areas of consumer law, fire/flood, probate, and construction law. Before law school, Beniza graduated cum laude from the University of San Francisco, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and a minor in Legal Studies.
Prior to joining Berger & Williams, LLP, Beniza was an employment attorney who found her passion for making the workplace a better environment for employees of all industries. Beniza is a San Diego native who has enjoyed serving her community through the ACLU and Legal Aid Society.
